I purchased my HVAC system from Cooper in 2023. On July 3, 2025, Matthew Carpenter came to my home for the AC service check. Matthew is the best Cooper technician to service my system. He was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He explained everything that he was going to do. I have had issues with the filter and filter track location since installation. The filter base is placed low. Moreover, the people who installed the system, didn't place the filter track to start at the filter door. Instead, track placement began about five inches back from the door. I couldn't see the track, and had to try and insert the filter blindly and by feel--a difficult and frustrating process that resulted in cuts on my hand and fingers from the sharp metal. I discussed this issue with every technician who serviced the system. Matthew was the only one to actually listen to what I was saying--and resolve the issue with a simple fix. Matthew relocated the track to start at the beginning of the door, where I can see it. I don't know why the other technicians couldn't do that. I will request Mathew for all future service checks. I recommend Matthew to all Cooper customers wanting excellent service.
