Before I went to Heritage Autopro I had taken my vehicle into the manufacturer I bought it from and after bringing it home, 2-3 weeks later it still had an oil leak. I was not going to take it back to dealer partly since it was past warranty, so I thought I'd try Autopro. I took my car to them and said, do me a favor and check for an oil leak. After taking a look at it he told me what the problem was and quoted me a price. I took it back to the dealer and they quoted me double the price I was quoted at Autopro. Then when they did the work and dropped the power steering rack they noticed there was oil leaking around the transfer case, so he checked that and fixed that problem as well. It turned out the dealership had forgotten to screw a cap on the oil tank when they had refilled it, so all they had to do was screw the cap back on. I really appreciate their honesty and trying to save me money on labor. He explained to me why the dealership charges so much more, because they order their power steering racks all in one piece even though you don't necessarily need the whole thing like the hoses and everything. They order them that way for when they do warranty work and just replace the whole thing and apparently that's why they quoted me so much more. I haven't had any problem since Autopro finished up with my car. There's no oil on garage floor at all. We have taken vehicles there before as well and haven't had any problems with them. I was really pleased because I was expecting a hefty bill and it was a lot less than I expected it to be, which doesn't happen often.
