My now former HVAC supplier came out responding to a call to try to fix a problem where my Fan was kicking from low to high every few minutes and ended up breaking my system telling my wife that while testing it an trying to "fix" it the Blower control board "blew". They quoted me $3500 to replace my 20 year old furnace and left us without A/C overnight in 85 degree weather. I called Georgia Air and told them to bring me a new control board (which was available on Amazon for $130) and try to get us patched up until we could get a new furnace. Charles from GACI came out and found a loose neutral wire was the only problem. We didn't even need a new control board , much less a new furnace and everything is working perfectly now. Total Cost $59 vs $3500. Now we can save for the new furnace and buy it when we have the cash instead of being forced to buy a new furnace just to get A/C.
