Third time's the charm!
We had developed a couple of websites over the fourteen years we've been in business. The first in 2006 was flash based, and needed to be updated, so our second site was built on Word Press in 2012. While we still liked our 2012 website, it had grown to too small a format for current monitors, and was starting to look a little dated.
So, looking for a fresh design outlook, we went to a web developer that people in Covington recommended, but the designer took our deposit, and did not produce anything custom.
We then tried another service in Mandeville, but the result was the same... our deposit was gone with only a standard Word Press template to show for it. It was a terrible all around experience.
Finally, we got a recommendation from an IT service we use occasionally, bridgenetllc.com They recommended WSI.
We were a little skeptical after two designers in the area had not been able to produce a custom design... but our contact with WSI, Andre Savoie, agreed to a very low deposit, and did not bill for anything else until the design was well underway and we were satisfied with it.
The design process was really well managed. WSI first produced a very specific mockup using the images, text and graphics we agreed upon in design meetings. Our feedback was listened to in detail, and adjustments made as needed. We were also given good direction from WSI on what worked and what really didn't for the web. As architects, we had our own design ideas, but some of them aren't right for this format, and they let us know that.
When it was time to put the design into Word Press, the result was great. The process was still very interactive, and we gave feedback on fine details in the operation of the site that WSI made work just right.
Overall a great experience. Thanks to Andre for always having meetings at our office, and for getting it all right! Highly recommended!
