This company needs major work in several areas of operation. I had pieces of siding start falling off not even a year after install. I put in a claim in late August and was told a repairman would be out, and that he would call before he showed up. Instead, he showed up when I was not home, without calling first, and therefore could not do any work. I was told he would call back, but he never did. I had to go out of town for work and my wedding, and revisited the issue in mid-October because more pieces were coming off. I was scheduled for repair on October 25th. Again, the repairman never showed and I never received a call from HCR. I called them that afternoon and was told I had been bumped to October 30th. They couldn’t tell me why and said it “might have been an error” on their part.
The repairman was supposed to be here between 9 and 11 this morning. At 11:35, I called HCR because he had not shown up. I was told he had been held up on another job and was on his way. At 12:35, I AGAIN called HCR because he STILL had not arrived. No one from the service department could be reached, so they sent out a mass email about the issue. I received a call shortly after that the repairman would be here between 2:45 and 3:30 in the afternoon. I was shocked when he arrived early.
Why did I, the customer, have to repeatedly call HCR to get updates and alert them that THEIR repairman wasn’t here? Why was I never called and told he wouldn’t be on time? Why did I take a day off work just to wait around? Why was I bumped to a later date and never informed? Why was I told the repairman was on the way when he absolutely wasn’t? Why was I told “thank you” and “have a nice day” on every phone call instead of “we apologize and we will work to ensure this never happens again”?
I hope after today’s repair, I never have to deal with HCR again. HCR = Huge Clown Rodeo
