While in basement doing laundry, I noticed water dripping from ceiling beam. (Wood nearby was damp.) After placing bowl on floor to catch water, I immediately called Dwyer & requested David, whom I have used for years. I was especially pleased that Dwyer was able to send him out as first apt. the next morning. He called to say he would arrive within 20 minutes. (And he did.) David went to basement & examined dripping beam, etc. for possible cause. However, there were no pipes nearby! He thought it might be condensation from nearby duct, & immediately called his company's HVAC supervisor, who concurred that it might be condensation. Supervisor said he could come over to look within a few hours. I told David the dishwasher had leaked 18 mo ago & motor assy had been replaced. I had turned dishwasher on before David came, but when he first looked, there was no water on floor. After basement check, he decided to take one "last look" at dishwasher, & water was leaking onto floor from cabinet next to dishwasher. He immediately pulled out bottom cover, & found water leak from motor. Recommended leaving cover off so floor could dry, & to give some thought to whether it was worth repairing. David, as always, was personable, professional & efficient, & determined to identify the cause of the problem. Can't recommend David (& Dwyer) highly enough! He's the best! (P.S. I bought a new dishwasher; not a KitchenAid this time.)
