Friendly staff, but got in over their heads

The store displayed an Android Head Unit (linkswell) and after inquiring about it, I was informed they could "easily" install the unit with a Metra dash kit in 2 hours. Well, 7+ hours later, my car was returned, and with a hole they had to cut in the back of the dash for a double din. Though I don't think this is uncommon, I'm just surprised it surprised them. There is SO much static and feedback in the background from the speakers without a single application running, the GPS locator, after requesting them to place in a specific location to get clean coord's was put.. well i don't really know. But my unit came with a utility to verify connection to each SAT, and all sit below acceptable thresholds, $@!#% google maps and waze cant even determine which direction I'm heading. Instead of professionally running the 2nd USB (part of the deck) down into my arm console where the 2nd factory output was located, they dropped a usb cable, loosely hanging from under the dash kit. Really amateur stuff. I brought in a beautiful car, is there some reason they thought dropping a USB cable down the middle of my console was professional or even acceptable. They could not get my steering wheel controls to work (but they certainly charged me for it), 5 mins in my driver seat I got the volume buttons (2 total) mapped in the head unit, the other keys, not hooked up, so those are essentially dead right now. The gentleman I was mostly dealing with is a nice guy, and understands there may be some adjustments that would have to be made.... ofcourse that comes with more time and money. They got in way over their heads with this car, head unit and dash kit, and if wish I knew they had never done an install like this before and clearly they hadnt they were so baffled). I'm weary to contact them for follow up assistance, because 1, they'll want more money, and 2, I'm not confident they wont cause more harm then good. They seemed lost while explaining why certain things wouldn't work (excuses not solutions) and wanted me to work with the manufacturers. Isn't that why I brought it to professionals and paid, plenty, If I wanted to work with manufacturers I would have done the install myself. I brought it to professionals for solutions, not excuses. Right now I'm just fuming while gathering my list of everything that's not working as intended.
