We worked together towards the same goal, even with the different time zones, and he felt like a part of our company.
I worked with Marc Levin at WSI probably about 7 or 8 months ago during the time I was employed by my last firm. I have since started my own business. We engaged them to help us out with our social media marketing program for our construction firm. We looked into Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, and different social media campaigns.
We looked at how social media applied to our business, how we might develop different programs to get different users involved in our business, and ultimately whether it would be a good idea or not. I was spearheading the program internally, so I was working one-on-one with Marc.
At first, because he was located in L.A. and I am in Connecticut, I was hesitant about how the interaction would be. Marc went above and beyond to work with me for conference calls, and he worked around my schedule and the different time zones. He made sure it was not a problem, so there were no issues. It was great. I felt connected throughout the whole process.
He helped me do a lot of research and analysis of all the different types of social media and what would be most appropriate for our business. He worked with our policies within our firm to improve within our own company.
A lot of marketing people within firms wear many hats, and he was great at always keeping our project at the top of my radar even when I wanted to push it aside for something else. He was persistent and helped me stay focused. He was a real partner throughout the process. It felt as though he was a member of our company, not just a consultant, which I have never experienced before. I would definitely work with him again.
