I'd rate Danmer Custom Shutters highly, mainly because they came when they said they would and called ahead of time to confirm the arrangements. The technician who came was careful to be sure we were satisfied.

We found problems with the bi-fold shutters installed, but they came back three times to get them right. They were very expensive: two small windows cost us $800. I wouldn't have used them again, but I wanted the new shutters to match the ones we had Danmer install on the rest of the house previously.

Cynthia, the saleslady we consulted the first time, was very pleasant, and it seemed like she gave us a good deal. I think they overcharged us the second time, though, and I feel shafted considering we were repeat customers. I would hesitate to recommend them because of the expense -- otherwise, it's a quality company.
