If I could give a negative rating, I would. Got an estimate. Agreed with them I wanted the work done. Serviceman came and said it would cost 2x the original estimate. When I asked about the increase, he was throwing in extra work that had nothing to do with fixing my problem (original problem was that air handler in attic not draining correctly), instead he proposed cleaning the condenser (outside), spraying disinfectant on coil, etc. My brother in law does A/C for 30+ years and said these services had nothing to do with my problem. I gave them the go ahead to do the original services quoted (by their estimator) and not the extras. They completed the work and restarted our A/C unit. Three hours after they left I came home to find water leaking into the wall and three rooms below the unit, through the ceiling. I called WM Henderson back and they said the work was not "warrantied" since I didn't take all of their recommendations (even though the recommendations had nothing to do with the problem). Not just my opinion, but also the opinion of original quoter from WM Henderson who stood by his original quote as all that was needed to fix the problem and the opinion of my brother-in-law and his 30+ years of experience.

To add absolute insult to injury, they not only refused to refund the $700 they charged me, they also billed me another $70 for the rep coming out to look at my leak coming through my ceiling and say "the work is not warrantied". Either don't take the job or take responsibility for a very bad leak three hours later. Very, very disappointing to say the least. Lesson learned. In the past 20 years of very substantial renovations to our home and dealing with many, many contractors this is the first instance that has led me to take the time/effort to write a negative review, but this experience warranted it. Use WM Henderson at your own risk, I won't be using them again. Have a great day!
