I had been using Wm. Henderson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc. for a while. They had initially put in my new heating system and maintained it regularly. This last visit I had called them to come out when there was an issue with the heater. There was a warning signal on the boiler that seemed to be the problem. The technician that they sent out seemed to be unclear. Allegedly, the previous technician who came out in the Fall to do a routine maintenance checkup on the boiler had not adjusted everything properly. The tech could not be certain it was now adjusted correctly until next Fall when the boiler comes on. I was charged $65 for a service call anyway when the technician did nothing. The first tech who came out in the Fall should have done more back then. I thought, "Why am I paying for it again?" I called Wm. Henderson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc. and they did remove the charge--just in case it was the previous technician who made the error. I must say that they are extremely expensive and I expected far better service for the fees that they expect from their customers. I also feel that their scheduling people are abrupt on the phone. Prior to this incident, I had called just to get regular plumbing work done. They were outrageously high on pricing and not competitive with other companies. I wound up using someone else. I am doubtful that I would ever recommend them to anyone and I most likely will not be using them again at my home.
