We bought a new home over a year ago and needed to have someone to show us how to use our water softener. The gentleman who showed up was very nice and knowledgeable, but all he did was push a button and told us how much salt to use and charged us $100. He said he wouldn't charge us the charge for coming out and would just charge a service charge to service our machine. However he didn't service anything. The time he spent here was mostly used to try to sell us on a new water softener. We've also called recently to get a quote on a new 40 gallon water heater. My husband told "Pat" that it would be a replacement for the one we have so we'd need a new one. He's the owner and couldn't give us a quote at all and said his guys keep all that information on their pads. Every other company could give at least a quote. We took our business elsewhere.
