I talked to several other HVAC companies but Texas Air’s thoroughness and quality-first attitude impressed me. They also have an A+ rating at the Better Business Bureau. They just installed two new heat pumps to replace our 15-year-old units.

Dennis came and did about a half-hour inspection of what we had, then we sat down and discussed various options. We talked about the benefits, costs, and, very importantly, the payback of various efficiencies.

Together we decided that, for my wife and I, who are in our 70’s, two “middle of the road” 16 SEER heat pumps would provide the “sweet spot”, balancing installation costs, energy savings, and long-term maintenance. Absolutely NO high pressure to up-sell to the “latest and greatest” (most expensive) options. In fact, for our situation, he recommended against them. He wanted to give us what WE needed.

Installation took two days for two heat pumps. His employees were friendly and efficient. They always wore their masks during the installation process. After the job was done, Dennis took me into the attic to review some of what he had done. He is truly proud of his work. He included some things that I never would have thought of such as re-insulating all the copper piping, putting mastic on all the metal duct connections to eliminate air leakage, etc. Dennis even registered our heat pumps with the manufacturer to make sure that the warranty is taken care of. VERY complete service.

I am recommending Texas Air Authority to anyone who wants a great HVAC experience!
