Texas Air Authorities, Inc.

Quality work. Reasonable price. Extremely honest company!

I work for many different property managers and homeowners, and Texas Air Authorities, Inc. has been my go-to HVAC subcontractor for over 20 years. His crews are composed of friendly and knowledgeable people, and they do great work on a consistent basis. I use them personally for my home, my family uses them, and I have also referred them to people outside of my network. Everyone brags on them, and has been so satisfied with their services. They communicate well, and they follow up on their work. Even their prices are right in line with other companies in the area. Once, one of my property owners tried to do some price shopping and he discovered that Texas Air Authorities, Inc. is right in there on the lower range of prices. Being less expensive is not always a good thing, but when you combine that with quality service, then it becomes a great thing. But one things stands out above all this, and that is their honesty. A lot of companies try to make every service call a "money maker" - where they can sell you a new this or new that. Not Texas Air Authorities, Inc. They may come out to a home three or four times over a several year period for a minor, low cost repair, and then if and when they tell you that you need a new compressor, for example, then you believe them. Because they have not been trying to upsell you every time they came out. I can give you a perfect example of this. Years ago when I was first getting started, one of my customers, a bank, wanted me to come out and give them a second opinion. They had been quoted $5,000 by the previous HVAC company, and they wanted me to do the work instead with my subcontractor. We went up on the roof and the owner of Texas Air Authorities, Inc. asked me if they had been doing any roof work. Well, they had, so he went over to check out a few wires. Come to find out, the roofers had knocked one wire loose with their mops, and you couldn't see it unless you undid the covering. He undid the cover, and reconnected the wire. The bank was ready and primed to pay $5,000, and the bill ended up being $86 for the service call. That is the kind of honesty I am talking about.
