I am so impressed with 1st Choice Plumbing that I really want to tell people about my experience with them. Their dedication, their kindness, their expertise, their professionalism and their fairness make them an outstanding company. My 41 (yes, 41!) year old boiler was making noise and the pressure was higher than usual. I called my plumber to see if he could recommend someone who works on boilers and he suggested 1st Choice Plumbing. Christine, from 1st Choice Plumbing, no sooner got here than the pressure release valve gave out. She replaced it with a new one. She was troubleshooting the system and found that the bladder tank was shot - I’ve had to replace several tanks in the past few years so I was not surprised. When Christine replaced the tank, the system started leaking from another unit and at that point I had to decide how much more patching up I should do to keep the old boiler going or should I get a new furnace. I decided to get a new boiler. Unfortunately for me, this was Friday after about four o’clock so I’d have to wait until Monday to get a new furnace installed. Christine called me on Saturday to let me know she was bringing space heaters to my house to see me through the weekend!! She came here on a Saturday to make sure I’d be warm enough until they could get the new furnace installed. That is so far beyond the call of duty! On Monday, Phil and Brandon installed the new furnace but I had asked them to re-use the existing zone valves and they were unable to make the new furnace work with the 41 year old valves. They tried until late in the evening to get the old and new to work but it just wasn’t happening. Their dedication was amazing - working all day and late into the night with no complaints, just a wonderful, positive attitude. The next morning, Brendon and Brandon came over and Brendan decided the only way to get the system working was to replace all six of the zone valves and all the plumbing and electrical that goes with them. Now for ANOTHER incredible part of the story- they were only going to charge me what I was quoted before they needed to replace the zone valves. I really can’t say enough good things about this company. They are more than fair and I know they will always be my ‘go to’ company. Thank you, 1st Choice Plumbing!!
