Starting on Oct 22, My heat stop working “Henry: came over on Tuesday, Oct 23rd; and diagnosed my problem as a faulty pressure switch. He managed to get it running; but predicted that the temporary fix (cleaning the switch) would not last long; “maybe minutes”. He didn’t have the part, so he said he would get it soonest, contact me, and come back “soon”. I hadn’t heard from him, or anyone else at Mod Mech, for a week since; when they eventually contacted me to come out and install the part.
With the outside temperatures going into the 30s and 40s last week, I would think that y’all would have made it a priority to get the part, and come back ASAP to install it. Or at least contact me with a status, so I could plan my life w/o heat. But you folks let me down. It would have been very uncomfortable to stay in this house for days w/o heat. Fortunately, the heat had been working fine since Henry left after the first trip. But you folks didn’t know that; nor seem to care. So, I am very unhappy with how you neglected me;
In summary, you folks eventually fixed the problem; and Henry seemed very nice and competent. But your parts department appears inefficient; and your sense of urgency and consideration for your customers were lacking in my case. I have to give serious thought about changing my default HVAC company.
