Paul Revere Revolutionary Service is a company I would tell everyone to avoid! Our experience with them has been a nightmare (and it is still ongoing). We had them come out to check the heat. The technician was not only a bit unpleasant (okay, he may have been having a bad day) but he claimed he serviced our unit and he did not. The furnace is still leaking. Plus, he broke the exhaust and did not inform me about it, but there is a piece of the exhaust missing and the 3 screws are sitting on top of the furnace. That is a clear indication that he broke it because screws would not materialize on top of the furnace. They adjusted the hot water and he claimed that would fix the problem. They charged $225 for the adjustment (and he wasn't even here an hour) plus they charged $179 for the diagnosis of what was wrong and $169 just for coming out to our property. Most companies (by law) have to tell you up front if they charge a fee just to come out. I will be reporting that to the Inspector General because it is an act of fraud not to disclose that you charge that outrageous amount just to come out. Not only did he break the exhaust but now there is oil leaking from the furnace. It was not leaking prior to his arrival and if he truly fixed it as he claimed there would be no leak. On top of that, there is now exhaust spilling into the basement and I go down here and the pets go down there. My handyman is going to have to find the parts to fix the exhaust. I am going to have to call another company to fix the furnace since they not only did not resolve the issue but now it is leaking oil. We have five zone heat here and the heat was just clicking. It doesn't click now but it doesn't come on at all in the zone for the basement. The technician was disrespectful and he didn't listen to me when I tried to explain what was going on. The things they did with this visit are most certainly not the way to run a business. I am thoroughly disappointed with Paul Revere Revolutionary Service, I would not recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would say stay away!
