We've been loyal customers of Paul Revere Revolutionary Service for over 25 years, but our most recent interaction was very disappointing. We had a problem with our hot water and called them. It wasn't an emergency, and they came out the next day to replace the zone head on the shower. My wife went ahead and paid the bill with a credit card. The next day I looked at the bill more carefully and noticed that the fee for a service call seemed appropriate (the plumber was there for about one hour) but the cost of the replacement part was four times the retail cost. I called the owner, Skip, to discuss the mark-up and the receptionist took a message. I called back twice more, leaving messages, and Skip never returned my call. The plumber who replaced the part did a good job, but I am very disappointed that I never received a return call from Paul Revere Revolutionary Service to discuss my concerns about the total bill.
