Because I want to support local business, I look for places that I feel good about spending my hard earned money. I have been going to Carefree for a year or so now for spa chemicals because Shane gave me the best deal I could find and I thought fair. Unfortunately, in my last visit he charged me $20 for test strips (50 count). I was in a rush and didn't say anything but I won't be going back. I'll be getting my chems/supplies online for FAR better prices. I don't know if he thought I wouldn't notice or what and there were no prices on the products so I know he just charged me nearly double the average rate because he felt like it. Not the best move in you want to keep customers.
