Was told the service call was $60, when tech arrived he told me about a $270 maintenance agreement that would have them come back twice - once to look at heat and once to look at ac - and that would include he analysis of the system (so initially I thought OK) - well he hooked up a tester to heating system and proceeded to tell us that it would be $800 installed, plus another $60 for service call and $270 for contract (I decided I wanted to check into part and opted for the $60+125 for tech check $185 for a 1/2 hour visit and diagnosis!! Asked tech to see if he could get gas re-fired and he said he tried twice and it wasn't going to fire (after he left I looked in manual and reset system by shutting down for 5 minutes and its been working fine ever since (why couldn't the tech suggest that?) It was a below 32 degree night and we are a family of 4 - so I guess it was better to pressure us into thinking we'd be without heat !
