My friend recommended Steward's Plumbing. When they arrived, I was defensive and just knew they were going to do a horrible job just like all the other plumbers. The gentlemen calmly listened to me rant. They said that they would take care of my plumbing problem. They were halfway through the job when I realized they really were going to fix the problem. I became very confident that the kitchen sink wouldn't back up every month. And it didn't. They explained that the cast iron pipes were breaking down, catching debris, and plugging the pipe. I expected a costly bill. It wasn't. Very reasonable. They gave me an estimate for replacing the cast iron drainage pipes and the horrible work that other plumbers had done, very reasonable too. I haven't replaced the pipes yet though. It's been over year and a half, and I just called them to come and snake the kitchen pipe again. The office staff and the plumbers that have come to the house are so nice.
Steward's Plumbing is the only company I use now.
