Coolray Heating & Air Conditioning

Bad experience

It’s very important to do your research because everything is online. Ask lots of questions too.
We do not use the shower or toilet in the basement but was told to run the shower and flush the toilet 5 times once every month. Recently found out that the toilet wasn’t flushing and shower wasn’t draining like it should.
I called Mr. Plumber and told them not to send a people from Coolray company. Two men came, one said that the water pump may need replacement, even though he didn’t know where it was. After asking lots of questions, he kept saying, “I think I know where the pump is.” “I think”, is a Red flag for me. You either know or you don’t know. He said he would have to break my dry walls and break apart of the floor, where he thinks it is. We were also told that we would be responsible for repairing everything that was broken.I asked him how much he would charge to fix whatever the problem was? He said $3,200-$3,400 😳. I like second, third, fourth and fifth opinions, so I called another company. A gentleman came out and the first thing he did was checked the sewer breaker. The breaker was not switched on properly and that was the problem. Btw, Mr. Plumber contractor was going to demolished a area of my floor where the pump was not at. It took a few minutes for the gentleman from the other company to find out exactly where the pump was and shoot to my husband. (It was NOT where Mr. Plumber/Coolray said it was). To the person that came out, you are not the only one affected by this pandemic. Wait, you’re not affected because you have a job. I have been disabled for over 11 years and cannot work. I have two children who are still in school and my husband who was the breadwinner is currently out of a job because of the pandemic. How dare you!
