I've been using Cool Ray for years, beginning with servicing the original units in my house. They provided average service for my original units and given that I had already been using them, I had them install two new units when the time came. It's basically been a disaster. For the first four years after installation, the units broke down constantly. I had to escalate the issue to the head of service and they finally agreed to replace some major components that seems to have resolved the breakdowns (two years now with no service issues). However, now my annual maintenance plan is screwed up. I paid for a five-year plan in 2017 and when the tech came out to do the semi-annual service (06/20), he said the couldn't find my service plan so he couldn't complete the service without charging me. Cool Ray actually called me to tell me it was time for my semi annual maintenance but then they can't find the plan? Now I'm trying to resolve that issue and then I have to reschedule the maintenance visit again. This was problem I had when the units were always breaking down...I would take time off work to meet them at the house and I would have to do that constantly because they would never actually fix the problem. Now they can't even perform the semi annual maintenance without multiple visits because their system is not accurate. If I could do this over, I would use another company.
