To be honest I called DonMar the first time because their sticker was on the side of the HVAC in the house we had just bought. It was 11:00 pm on a Saturday night and outside temps were in the upper 20's when our heater quit working. We called and got voicemail that said they would call back soon (I was thinking yeah, right) but no, they literally called within 5 minutes and said they were on their way. They showed up 20 minutes later and had us back up and running and the bill was reasonable (we were expecting a large bill for the middle of the night emergency visit and were shocked when it wasn't). So with that being said, we were convinced that if we bought another house we would use Donmar again. So fast forward 3 years and a different house, I called them to do a checkup on the system in our house (which is quite old). They showed up the next day on time. Went through the house with a fine tooth comb and even changed our filters with new ones that the previous owner had left us (no charge). But here is why you SHOULD call them....I had a taxi coming to pick me up in less than an hour for an international flight when the water went out in the house. All I asked was did he have any suggestions of what I should do who I should call. He proceeds to go downstairs and look over my water pump and tells me that he is not familiar with water pumps/wells but his boss was and he would call him and get his opinion. He calls his boss and tells him the situation and he walked him through the repair (which turned out to be something very simple but I certainly didn't know what was wrong)! They fixed it!! Who does this anymore? He could have left me there with no water and departing for a 27 hour international flight and no way to shower! He wasn't a water pump guy...he was an HVAC guy and stayed out of the kindness of his heart. And his boss walked him through some troubleshooting until my water came back on. I cannot say enough about the intergrity of this company. I actually get a little teary eyed just thinking about. They show up on time, they don't try to upsell you, they are honest, and just an overall pleasure to do business with
