I have been using Stauffer's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning about three years. I have a maintenance contract for both my furnace and air conditioning units where I pay a set fee, and they make sure the units are ready for the season. This last time they were out on a maintenance call, they detected a problem in my heater. They were able to determine the problem, and they asked for the paperwork for the heater. They were cordial enough to take care of contacting the company that manufactured the unit because there was still warranty left on it. The part was replaced by Stauffer's, and I didn't have to pay for the part - just the labor - because of the warranty, and Stauffer's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning took care of it all. It all turned out great, and they were able to keep it running and reliable for the upcoming season!

They are very responsive. They always come out within a 24 hour period. The techs are conscious of putting on booties before coming inside the property. The tech that I worked with communicated effectively about the readings on his meters and explained very well in terms everyone can understand. He was very polite and informative. At one point, as we were making conversation, the tech said, "I really enjoy what I do" - which doesn't happen very often, and that makes a huge difference. They are reliable, and the cost is not exorbitant. Their prices are fair, and I'm willing to pay the cost because they are dependable and fair but by no means will they ever be the least expensive. I have already recommended them to my neighbors, and I plan to continue using them!
