My husband suffered a brain stem stroke. So he's at MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care at Arrowhead because I don't want to destroy my back. We're very pleased. He's been here 3 months. He's not able to enjoy activities. But he does read. He uses his left hand to turn pages. Mentality is really sharp. We're having a pretty good time enjoying ourselves. It's fun because I'm younger than most of the people here. I enjoy hearing about others peoples' lives. Staff are good people too. They are caregivers and have a sense of humor. Making friends worked out well. He's in dining room. it's been good. The other residents are friendly. Staff are friendly and always available. You see I wouldn't give anybody 5 stars. But we've had no problems. And there's a nurse on staff. They've answered questions concerning getting tests and things done. It's worked out really well. I would recommend MorningStar Assisted Living to our family and friends.
