My father in law is a resident at MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care. He just lost his wife of almost 70 years and is 93 years old. He also suffers from stages of Alzheimer's. From the moment we brought him there he has been so happy. As happy as he can be anyway. Lon, who is a supervisor there was just very understanding and very good at explaining everything. My father in law is also hard of hearing and everybody that works there is sensitive to that. They all call him by name, even the employees that serve dinner or lunch. It's like one big family. He really feels a part of something. All of the residents there seem to care for each other and look out for each other. We thought he was going to be withdrawn and stay in his room. But, he's always outside. He really enjoys it there. He seems happy all the time. The food there is so good. I've actually eaten there several times. I have only good things to say about this place. I highly recommend this facility.
