My dad was a resident at MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care for only a few weeks before he passed away. He spent part of that time in the hospital, but, the rest of the time he really liked it there. Whenever he had a visitor he would make them push him around the facility and introduce them to all his friends. He had gone to the chapel service one Sunday and somehow they found out he could play the keyboard so they asked him to play at the service the following Sunday. He played at that service and unfortunately was in the hospital 2 days later and never left. So, he never made it back to MorningStar, but, I do know that he really enjoyed his last days there. The place wasn't perfect of course, but, for the most part it's pretty great for an assisted living facility.
