I have a Buderus Boiler and the unit stopped producing hot water. The error code read: 3L. After some investigation, 3L means the fan unit needs to be replaced. I bought a new fan unit. I"ll have Ben Franklin install it. The fan unit was $385.00. When Mike ( the plumber from B.F) he gave me a price to install of just a little over $500.00. It sounded high but I need hot water the two ladies in my house were killing me. . (my daughter and wife)
Final Bill: $633.13 , he spent 45 minutes to install the fan. I'm sorry, but $633.13 for less than an hour, to install a fan unit that I PAID for.
Sorry Ben, I'll keep looking for a more fair plumber.
