Good Company, Good Workers, Bad Prices
I called in One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning to do a repair job for my air conditioning. Their service was quite good. They were very prompt. knowledgeable and they are good at what they do. The only problem I have with them is how they charge their customers. They told me I had two options for repair: I could have the condensation pump replaced or have gravity drain installed that would go into the drain. I chose the gravity drain because they quoted an enormous amount for the replacement pump. I opted for the cheaper fix instead of paying $308 for a replacement condensation pump. Then later, I happened to be at Lowe's, and there I see the pump priced at $73. So I pay them for everything--service charges, the work they've done-- and then they have this outrageous markup on products. I don't think that's customer oriented and I probably wouldn't use them again. This markup is not the technicians' fault surely, and they are generally a good company and do good work.
