I needed two fixtures (which I had purchased) switched out and some florescent lights repaired. Two guys show up and immediately perform a "safety inspection" for *their* protection. Yea, right. Proceed to tell me that I need 1) surge protector 1) GFI outlets in the kitchen and hard-wired smoke detectors. How exactly would that protect them? Those items, coupled with my actual requested work was quoted at more than $3,000! Are you kidding me? I said no, no way. Then it became more than $2,500, then down to $1,200 to do only the work I wanted. I literally laughed and said that I'd gotten a quote for the florescent light repair at around $500 and that was too much. He said he "thought he could do it for that." I DESPISE COMPANIES THAT GOUGE AND UP-SELL so I sent them packing. WHAT A RIP OFF!
