I recently attended the California CCW Renewal class with Mike Ramsey as the Senior Instructor and found the class presentation along with the range experience to be top-rated.

The classroom group of nine attendees was about right with respect to the instructor to student ratio.

Mike presented the required material in an appropriate manner and often added personal anecdotes to enhance the point being made. He spoke directly to the lesson plan and genuinely appeared to enjoy his subject matter. I prefer instructors who are enthusiastic and it really showed in Mike's positive attitude toward the attendees.

He was careful to ensure that all weapons carried into the classroom were handled and maintained in a safe manner. His range procedures were equally conducted in a safe manner. I am a retired Army Warrant Officer and who has spent a lot of time on military rife and pistol ranges. Such provides me with the ability to make comparisons on a number of range procedures. With the help of Kevin Pool from NFI, the course of fire went along flawlessly and more importantly, safely.

All in all, probably the best CCW Renewal course I have attended over the years. Top-Rated!
