Good class. Fun instructor, Kevin. I've been through several CCW classes, not only as a CCW carrier but as an observer when I worked as an inspector with the CA DOJ, Firearms Bureau. The best I've seen was taught by a senior Deputy Sheriff. I also taught home defense classes as a police officer, along with a SWAT officer and an ADA. I believe more emphasis should be on the law of carrying concealed" What to say, what not to say when the police arrive, what actions to do, what actions not to do, when encountering a "shoot, no shoot" situation. Also, where a CCW handgun is allowed and not allowed. The instructors could mention about joining the USCCA which has some great training videos.
