Before enrolling in this Northern California Instruction (NFI) CCW class, I took the same approach I do when purchasing most any product or service. That is, I thoroughly researched available options for this training. Since obtaining a CCW permit places an incredible amount of responsibility on the individual looking to do so, as well as an investment of time and money, one has to be selective and careful in choosing who they trust to best prepare them for this. I'm extremely happy I chose NFI for this training. Our instructors -- we had two -- between them had decades of law enforcement and first response experience, and brought a wealth of personal knowledge and experience to the pre-defined class curriculum. This not only made the 16-hour, 2-day class educational and informative, but extremely engaging and enjoyable. In fact, I'll likely enroll in other NFI classes to further expand my knowledge base. I've found that an instructor or presenter can make or break a class, irrespective of the subject matter, and this experience with NFI was definitely worth my time and money. I feel very well prepared and appreciate the fact that our instructors were truly invested in ensuring that none of us left with unanswered questions, and that we were well prepared for the next steps in the process. In short, I highly recommend NCI to anyone that has made the decision to pursue obtaining a CCW permit, and assume the incredible amount of responsibility that goes with it.
