Concern on Freon testing
My only concern was the hook up the tech did to test the Freon pressures. In my day, you hooked up the manifold gages when the low and high side are balanced, not when the system is running, and the high side is just that, high in pressure. Common sense will tell you that you will loose more Freon when attaching or disconnecting the manifold gages to the high side when the system is running because of the high pressure. I was told this is standard procedure, not in my day, or as I just stated, looking at it from a common sense point of view. Other AC firms I asked on this confirm, this is wrong procedure. My system no doubt has less Freon now that before the tech came.
