I was not very happy with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing & Minuteman Heating and Air. I called them with a very straightforward problem - my garbage disposal either needed to be repaired or replaced. Their service tech showed up, and he was quite nice, and he looked the situation over and he said that the unit could not be repaired. He would have to get a replacement in and then reschedule. That was fine and I asked him if I would be charged for him coming out. He said that I would. That is when I decided to call another company. I would not have minded them rescheduling the work, but when I very clearly told them upfront that the unit might have to be replaced, I think they should have brought a replacement unit with them. I do not think that I am being unreasonable. I certainly was not happy paying about $80 for them to basically just say "Hello!" to me.
