Review of service call...

The estimate provided was sky high. I told them no and they kept my $70 service call fee. I called another plumbing company the same day to do the work for much less. I probably won't be calling Benjamin Franklin again.

You were told that the service fee was in addition to the work done when you called in to set the appointment, but it is not $70. The pricing was presented to you up front once a thorough exam was done, and you declined the work. We did everything exactly as we said we would. I am sorry that having professional work done by professional plumbers costs more than you think it should. We do not claim to be the cheapest plumber in the area, nor do we want to be. We want to be the best plumber, with the best warranty, and we are. I am sorry that these things have no value to you, but they do to us and to our customers.
