I visited Award Self Storage in July. I looked at a 2nd floor unit and quickly decided I wanted a first floor unit. I went home and reserved the first floor unit so I could get the one additional month free, a $20 gift card (that I never got) and a discount through AARP or AAA. I returned to Award Self Storage and completed the paperwork (again I didn't mention the 2nd floor unit). Although I didn't inquire, as I was leaving the facility the associate told me that my monthly payment would be approximately $84 a month. When I received my first bill of approximately $103 I called Award Self Storage and left a message regarding the difference in payment. I got a call back with a message that the $84 payment was for the 2nd floor unit ( I never expressed an interest in the 2nd floor). I did not have a document confirming the lower payment so I didn't pursue.
