Somewhere in all the texts I found someone who said stay far away from all the big name flooring stores and just call Wood House Floors. I was about to give up but called Wood House Floors and spoke with John.
I was on the defense every minute of our conversation and was expecting a big up-sell job. I was so wrong! John came by with a bunch of samples and began educating us from the basics to intermediate flooring facts. He went over the various flooring types (laminated, engineered, solid) as well as various qualities of each.
We settled on Brazilian Cherry engineered and are so happy we did.
The flooring team arrived 15 minutes earlier than agreed upon and immediately began setting up an area to work. They came in and relocated all our furniture safely and efficiently. The team removed all existing carpeting, scrapped and prepared the concrete slab, then began applying a high quality adhesive and flooring.
We had approximately 900 square feet of flooring to install and they completed the job in less than 7 hours. We had furniture pads available beforehand and they even went as far as applying the pads on all our furniture for us as they returned the furniture to their original positions. Amazing service. Unheard of in these days of 'less for more'...
If you are considering any other flooring contractor for your home or business, you owe it to yourself to give John a chance to pitch the quality and professionalism of Wood House Floors. I am so VERY happy I kept researching and reading. We will NEVER regret the choice to invite John into our home and choosing them for our project.
