It was offensive
This was my first time using K9 University Chicago, but it was an overwhelming and offensive experience for me. I do have to give the trainer credit because she definitely knew her job, and my dog did learn the commands. I just did not like the way she treated me and my dog at all. She was very good with the other dogs and their owners, but my dog and I were separated from the rest of the class, and we had to take the class locked in a cage. I'm not used to being around other dogs, and my dog is a German Shephard that barks quite a bit, so I'm not sure if that had something to do with us being singled out or what the deal was. Also, they evaluated me after the class, and I thought that was backward. If they had evaluated me at the beginning of the class, they would have known that I didn't have much experience being around other dogs besides my own. I did not really like my experience, and I definitely would not recommend them to anyone else!
