This was my first time using K9 University Chicago. I contacted them for training for my dog. The trainer was good about sending video communication showing the different training that my dog was receiving. My dog did board at the facility while in training. At the end of training, the trainer filled me in on basic information and what I needed to do from that point. My dog was not responding and seemed very lethargic and had very red eyes. I checked him and he had a small cut on his mouth and scabbing on his head and back. I took him to the vet and he had to be put on antibiotics and eye drops. I called the trainer to find out what could have happened to cause this issue and he just told me that he was not aware of an issue when he was boarded. I feel that the facility and or trainer was not really watching him and he was injured and got an infection. My dog still does not respond to the training that he received and seems to be a bit timid or scared. I would not recommend them to anyone.
