I've been in independent living at Morning Star for about 3 years. My daughter preferred that I live closer to her and after researching places in the area, I was taken with MorningStar!

I have a 2 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor which is fantastic! I have easy access when I use my walker, an extra room when family visits overnight, and I have a wonderful view that overlooks the courtyard. I'm as happy as a $@!#%!

The facility has lots to offer in terms of activities and events. Bingo is my favorite along with the evening dinners. There's a very nice group of people here. The grumpy ones weed themselves out which keeps the environment pleasant.
