Here's the deal, turn on the golf channel and you will find tons of hucksters selling you the magic fix for your crappy golf game. The problem with that, of course, it's not the equipment. However, if you are serious about golf and you want to make certain you are not hindering your game with poor equipment choices and you enjoy the buying experience as a process (meaning also you are likely paying a bit more instead of less) this is the place for you. I buy irons about once a decade and today was my day. I spent two hours going through an incredible amount of choices, both with shafts and heads and let the stats of the trackman do the talking. I found the clubs that felt right and walked away with a set I know will be in my bag for the next 10 years. I will never look at my equipment and blame it for a crappy swing. It's all my fault.
