Paid $330 for 20 minutes of labor.

The phone service was great. The timing was fast, and the tech was professional. Problem is I paid $330 for 20 minutes of labor. My total bill was $530. I had already priced the OEM part @ $200, but I found myself against a weekend, with record lows coming and myself leaving town for a week, so I bit the bullet anyhow. The tech replaced it really in about 5 minutes. Sure, companies may charge what they like, and if this is the practice in the industry, then so be it. However, I am inclined to find out what other companies are doing, and until it is clear that this is the common practice, then I don't think I can recommend MSCO and will probably not use them again. I will say the people themselves were great to deal with.

Thank you for your compliments that our office did a great job, that they scheduled you the same day you called after cancelling earlier that day, that the technician who arrived on time was courteous and professional, and as you said in summary, “we are great people to deal with”.
Your disappointment concerning the cost of the repair is understandable. It’s frustrating that your warranty was only for five years parts rather than the ten years if you had it installed and registered by us.
There are several factors that go into our flat rate pricing, the cost of supporting an office that coordinates schedules and handles customers’ accounts, the cost to stock that part on the service truck, to replenish the truck when its used, the shipping we pay for parts, the warranty we provide for the repair, as well as the labor (one hour and seven minutes on site by our GPS not counting drive time) to change the part.
Our ESA customers do get up to a twenty percent discount on most repairs, two free cleanings every year, verification of maintenance for warranty purposes, priority service, and no overtime charges for emergencies.
