Murphy has this Law. Anything that can go wrong, WILL go wrong.

Coldest day of the year. Furnace dies. Checked Power, breakers, gas, filter (which I replace monthly), and temp continued to drop. To 47° eventually. I called the service that installed the furnace 15 years ago. They had done my annual inspections, as well.

It was going to be 2-3 days. I couldn’t take that. So I called Golden Rule. They got there in a reasonable period of time. They inspected the equipment and determined that the igniter had failed, and showed me why it wasn’t working. They had to get the part, but they did, came back and got it up and running. All withing a couple hour time period.
