Auchinachie Services had done the water system's water softener, so I don't know if they did some servicing to it first, but they said it would be as good as new. So we'll see, and so far so good. They had given me three months, then six months, of warranty on it but, when you are spending $1,600 to $1,700, you want at least a couple of years. They said it would be as good as new, so why not give a longer warranty? The timing was good, and the service staff was on time--and making an appointment was good, too. I would tell potential customers to look around a little bit more. I had to get it done right away; the machine was installed by them initially and no one had used it for eight to nine years.
