I'm very happy with RB Heating Climate Care. We had issues with our furnace a weeks ago so I called them to take a look. We don't get regular maintenance checks done, but I do change the filter every three months as recommended, and the house and furnace were new when we moved in. However, I have been running a cool mist humidifier in my kid's bedroom. The service guy from RB told me that had probably increased the amount of calcium sediment on the filter, causing it to clog more quickly. So, he changed the filter and checked everything else out. I told him that we use a wood stove in the winter which dries out the air. He suggested a humidifier option that would be better than the cool mist one we were using. His recommendation made sense, so we opted to go with the whole-house humidifier attached to the furnace itself. Now the dry air is gone from the house and the humidity level is comfortable for everyone, especially my child with allergies. The technician showed me how to use the new humidifier and recommended that we turn it off during the summer months. I was very happy with everything that he did. He also took a look at the ducts in the house and recommended they be cleaned. It's been ten years since we've moved into this house, so it was probably time to get them cleaned. Another guy from RB Heating Climate Care came in to do the duct cleaning and I'm also very happy with that service.
