We've been dealing with RB Heating for close to 20 years now, through some major and minor changes, and have been continually satisfied with the products and service that they've provided. We started in '99, when they installed a forced-air oil furnace as a part of a major renovation in our house. Then, in 2011, when the insurance company objected to the oil tank, we switched to a ground-source (closed loop, horizontal) heat pump system. Then, just a few weeks ago (2018), we added a supplemental propane stove in our living room. Each time, I was completely happy with RB Heating. I found Rick Buffham to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of his trade. (When we made the switch to the heat pump, I did extensive online research. Rick was able to understand this research, and to expand upon it. Two other contractors with whom I dealt were dismissive of my findings, and were almost combative with me.) In all three instances (oil, heat pump, and propane stove), installation was completed in a timely and effective manner. Our ongoing biannual service is invariably and consistently competent. In all of our dealings with RB Heating - with Rick himself, with his office staff, with his installation crews, and with his service staff - we have been completely satisfied.
