I've been using Acorn Valley Pet Boarding for twenty years and I'm pleased with their service. I travel a lot and my dog is sometimes at their facility for 2-3 weeks and she loves going there. When I bring her to their facility, she's all smiles and not holding back and that makes me happy. I make sure they give her extra walks and she thoroughly enjoys the staff and I've never had a problem with leaving her there. They clip her nails, give her baths and take really good care of her.
About 15 years ago we had a house fire and I had to leave two of my dogs at their facility for a considerable amount of time. We were without a home as well and they did an amazing job and helped us out tremendously. There are other kennels that are closer to my house, but I've always had good experiences with Acorn Valley Pet Boarding which is why I keep returning.
My only complaint is that the prices are high and they continue to raise their prices. I pay $28 a day and sometimes I go on trips around the world so my bill is always pretty high when I return, which is to be expected, but their service is worth it because they take extra good care of my dog. She has never come home with fleas or any injuries and I would recommend them to other pet owners.
