Southwest Air Conditioning and Heating came in to look at my heating and air conditioning unit. After their inspection, they determined that it needed a new heat kit. They didn't have one in stock and ordered one. The next time he came back, he put the heat kit in and took it right back out because it didn't work. I tried to call the manufacturer, and they told me I had to get the heat kit from a distributor. I went the entire winter without the heat portion of my heating and air conditioning system. They were going to charge me $700 for the installation and heat kit but the price changed to $900 while waiting. Southwest Air Conditioning and Heating never fixed this issue. The only thing that they wanted to do was install a new system. I did not opt for that and purchased heaters for the winter because the winters are short here in Texas. As it has warmed up, it is good to note that the air conditioning works perfect. I wouldn't call Southwest Air Conditioning and Heating back for any reason, they only wanted to sell me a new HVAC system and not replace the heat kit.
